The esteemed image-centric organization, CEPIC, has unveiled the dates for its annual Congress, scheduled for May 2024 in the picturesque South of France.
This year's iteration of the prominent industry event will delve deeply into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on visual authenticity. It promises to introduce several novel segments, participants, and dynamics.

Titled “Authenticity in the Age of AI,” this year's CEPIC Congress will feature panels, discussions, and presentations that explore the multifaceted ways in which AI is revolutionizing image creation, creative workflows, and content authenticity. From generative AI tools to copyright protection, attendees will gain insights into verification and transparency in imagery and much more.
Set to unfold from the 15th to the 17th of May 2024 in Juan les Pins, Antibes, the conference offers early registration at the same fees as the previous year. With the added attraction of a preferential rate for nearby hotels, attendees are encouraged to secure their accommodations promptly, especially considering the simultaneous occurrence of the Cannes Film Festival in the same vicinity.
A staple in the visual creative industry, the CEPIC Congress is not to be missed. Having actively participated in previous editions, including moderating round table discussions in 2023, I can attest to the value it brings to industry professionals.

This year's convention is poised to introduce several innovative features, transforming the event into a dynamic, visual-centered marketplace.
CEPIC is diversifying its attendee base by extending invitations to up to 50 media buyers from various backgrounds and industries. They will have the opportunity to interact at tables with content producers and distributors who regularly participate in the event, fostering pitch sessions between them.
Attendees can also participate in the CEPIC Award of the Year and an Olympic Photo Exhibition. Additional activities include conference discussions, webinars, specialized workshops, and a designated lounge area for networking and debates.
With an expected turnout of around 400 participants from 200 firms globally, the event aims to provide ample opportunities for both sides of the imagery market to stay abreast of industry developments and forge crucial business connections.
